I visited Taipei last March and stayed there for 10 days. It was out of prediction. Taipei is a well developed city but i still can see some old buildings and traditional markets. Staying for 10 days at a backpacker hostel was amazing, i met some travelers from Japan, China, and Russia. We shared stories and laughs at the coffee shop downstairs. The owner was good too, he gave me discounts everyday for breakfast! :) The sandwich and coffee are AMAZING!

I never known about Taipei before, a friend lend me a guide book and i found some good informations there. The 'best' part was when i found a place which i thought it was a backpacker hostel but it was actually a gay bar :)) Banaaaaanaaaaa :))

Taiwanese are nice people, i was helped by many people when i lost. That remains me of an old lady i met at a train station and we talked about many things. The guy at the coffee shop was kindhearted too. He served me coffees every morning, and i did not have to explain what kind of coffee i like because he already knew. Oh yea...i remember a police man at the downtown! He helped me to find a tiny bookstore at the small alley...he followed me by his motorcycle to make sure i get the right place. I really can't find that kind of person here in my country actually :p

The view from the Elephant Mountain was great, it was breeeeeezing and calm. The sunset looked so beautiful. But the stairs??? Nooooo waaaay! Hahahaha... Thank you for a friend who took me there! :)
